Cassidy is a first-year network science PhD student working with David Lazer. She is interested in opinion formation, polarization, and information dissemination, and studies these phenomena through the lenses of network science and computational social science.  Cassidy holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from Brigham Young University.
