Ronald Robertson

Ronald graduated cum laude from the University of California San Diego in 2012 and spent the next several years publishing research at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology, a nonprofit he helped establish. His current research is a mixture of computer and social science that aims at developing and deploying technologies for conducting experimentally controlled audits of online socio-information systems like Google Search, Twitter, and Facebook to investigate the ways that these platforms can influence attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. The research he has been involved in has been published in journals including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Proceedings of the ACM: Human-Computer Interaction, Journal of Technology in Human Services, Behavior Analysis: Research and Practice, and the Proceedings of the Web Conference, Web and Society.
